DIANE ABBOTT GAFFS AGAIN

Hardly a week goes by without a gaff from Diane Abbott. The Shadow Home Secretary was answering a question from the audience about why Labour has “such a problem with anti-Semitism ”.

This time she called traditional Jewish dress - costumes.

As if traditional Jewish clothes are merely clothes Jews wear to go on parade or on stage, or to a synagogue.

And the editor of Jewish news said " Could you imagine referring to Muslim women in headscarves /Sikh men in turbans as being 'in costume'? "
