Earlier this year, the petition for fair votes smashed through the 100,000 signatures needed for a debate in Parliament. But the Petitions Committee was suspended for June's election and nobody knew would happen to the petitions waiting for their debate.

Yesterday we found out. On October 30th MPs will be debating your motion: “To make votes matter, adopt Proportional Representation for UK General Elections”. We've written up the full story on our blog.
