Years ago, I heard stories about this being commonplace in some parts of the USA, when women (often from minority groups and low incomes) who find themselves in a desperate bind, trade themselves to an unscrupulous landlord in lieu of rent arrears. Now the UK's needless housing crisis is being exploited by sexual predators and opportunists who freely admit they, "get access to women that" they, "wouldn't normally get access to." How much worse must things become?
