Nothing shows the contempt the Tories feel for working people than the fact that these 159 flats in Kensington and Chelsea stand empty while the 158 survivor families from Grenfell Tower are scattered and homeless.

They are traumatised and gain support from each other so what better for them, in the long and short term, than to be rehoused together on an estate where they can rebuild their lives together as a community.

The government should step in and force the owners and council to renovate the estate as quickly as possible for the surviving families.
